H2E4M2. Краткие итоги

Ожидания от турнира у меня были очень радужными. Я думал, что будет команд шесть хотя бы, а в тайне надеялся на восемь, чтобы получились две классические группы и добротный плэй-офф в две стадии. И под эти наполеоновские планы я даже решил, что команды осилят по два матча друг с другом :)

Я подумал, что раз у нас турнир и так необычный, то можно сделать его еще чуточку заковыристее. Это я про 2 последних варианта.
Поясню, что я имею ввиду. Блэйд на матч может позвать любого игрока: из тех кто не участвует в турнире, из тех кто, участвует в турнире, но в данный момент не противостоит ему в составе другой команды. 2-й игрок будет stand-in в каждом матче (по аналогии со случаями замены игрока в counter-strike). В результате у кого-то из игроков не вышедших из группы (если будет принят 3-й вариант, когда команда Блэйда может выйти в финал), будет возможности все же сыграть финал в команде Блэйда, если она выйдет, так что им есть резон хорошо зарекомендовать в играх за его команду :)

Вот такая безумная идея, интересно ваше мнение по ситуации.

Regulations H2E4M2

I. Main Conditions

1.Number of teams participating in the tournament:

● minimum – 4;
● maximum — no limits.

2. Preliminary schedule: 

● group stage – from the 6th of July till August 2 (plus extra week if needed);
● play-off – from August 3 till 9 (plus extra week if the play-off stage will consist of two parts). 

3. Location

Game: Spectromancer v.1.33 (or the latest version for current moment)
Channel: ProSpectro Community
Type of duels: standard duels or trainings
Google-table: later

4.Duel structure

The format of team duel is double PvP (2 players versus 2 players). Team captains start duel against each other with hidden cards and open them only for their teammates in skype videochat. There they discuss their moves and think over the strategy together. So, one duel unites the whole team.

II. Requirements to the participants

1.It’s highly recommended to create a mailbox on gmail.com 

2.You should ask for permission to edit the online-table. You can do that by writing down your mailbox address in the registration topic, or send a letter to
knifetoback@gmail.com, or ask the organizer directly via personal message on prospector.net

3.Even if you don’t get a permission for editing the online-table you still can participate in the tournament, but then you need to ask your teammate, or the organizer, or the other players to edit your results in online-table.

III. Tournament scheme

1.The tournament consists of 2 parts:

● group stage; 
● play-off.

2.Dependence of tournament scheme on the number of participating teams:

● The number of groups during the group stage depends on the number of teams
with the following conditions: at least one group should have not less than 4 teams;
there should be not less than 3 and no more than 6 teams in each group;
the number of groups should match the range 2^n (where n=0 or higher (integers)

● The number of play-off stages depend on the number of groups

3.Group stage structure: 

● Round-robin tournament inside groups – 2 matches against each team: 1 “home”
and 1 “away” matches.

● 2 teams that have taken 1st and 2nd places in their groups advance to the play-off stage;

● the positioning in the group stage is determined by the number of points achieved by each team

4.Play-off structure: 

● If there is only 1 group the final is played between 2 teams that have advanced to the play-off stage. The team that has taken the 1st place starts the duel with N duels advantage in “away” match, where N is the difference in achieved points in the group stage/ 3 (rounding to the bottom for integer).

● If there 2 or more groups in the tournament the pairs of the first play-off stage are formed automatically crosswise (nearest groups in alphabetic order)

Example: A1 plays vs B2 (match PO1), B1 plays vs A2 (match PO2), B1 plays vs G2
(match PO3), G1 plays vs B2 (match PO4)

In the next stages the winners of the nearest numbers of matches (PO matches’
numbers) form the new pairs until the winner is revealed finally

For example, winner of PO1 – winner of PO2 (match PO5) and winner of PO3 –
winner of PO4 (match PO6), and then winner of PO5 – winner of PO6 (match PO7)
and the winner of PO7 becomes a champion



● Teams play 2 matches against each of their opponents – 1 “home” match and 1
“away” match

● In the first play-off stage the “home” will be started by a team that has taken the second place in its group. On the next stages the priority will be revealed by lot

● If the teams have a draw after 2 matches (same amount of points and victories)
the extra match will be held (overtime)

5. If 2 or more teams in the group have the same amount of points, the positioning in the group will be determined by the following criteria in the following order:

● higher number of points in their direct duels
● higher number of victories in their direct matches
● higher win/loss ratio in their direct duels
● higher number of victories in their direct “away” matches
● higher number of victories
● higher overall win/loss ratio
● higher number of victories in “away” matches
● coin flip

IV. Match structure

1. “Away” and “home” matches:

● Matches consist of 4 duels;
● “Home” team can ban 5 classes for their opponents;
● A team can’t play the same class more than 1 time per match

2. “Overtime” match:

● Match consists of 3 duels;
● Teams can ban 5 classes for their opponents;
● A team can’t play the same class more than 1 time per match

3. Points, achieved in matches:

● victory – 3 points;
● draw – 1 point;
● loss – no points.

V. Results notification

After each match any player from the team should enter the result in google-table, or submit a comment on prospecto.net

Example of notification:

Group «A». «Crazy bulls» (home) — «Sexy dolls» (away)

Banned classes for “Sexy dolls”: death, chaos, sorcery, druid, time

Illusion – Illusion – 1:0
Time – Goblins – 1:1
Sorcery – Demons – 2:1
Holy – Golems – 2:2

VI. Disconnects

1. A team has been disconnected (victory went to their opponents) and made less
than 4 moves: 

● the duel should be replayed

2. A team has been disconnected (victory went to their opponents) and made more
than 4 moves: 

● one duel can be replayed only with the permission of the opponent team;

● if there are more than 1 disconnect after the first disconnect a technical decision will take place

VII. Technical decisions

1. Delayed matches

Technical decision over such matches will be made by the committee of 3-5 (odd
number) prospectro members that do not take part in the disputed match.

2. Unsportsmanlike behaviour

The abasement of organizers, players, spectators and other forms of caddish and
unworthy behavior cause:

● a player can be disqualified from the tournament and can be substituted by
another player if the remaining member of the team wants to continue participating

● the whole team can be disqualified from the tournament and will get technical
losses in all remaining matches

VIII. Games recording

After the games team captains should submit links for their recorded matches.
